Marr, best known as the dynamic and influential guitarist-arranger-musical wunderkind behind the pioneering Manchester band The Smiths, has left an indelible mark on British pop music throughout the 1980s with his signature ringing, jangling sound.

The maple neck is shaped based on Marr's 1965 Jaguar, complete with a vintage-style truss rod, lacquer finish, and Marr's signature on the headstock.

The guitar's specialized features include a four-position blade-style pickup switch, mounted on the lower horn chrome plate, offering versatile tonal options: bridge pickup, bridge and neck pickups in parallel, neck pickup, and neck and bridge pickups in series. Additionally, two upper-horn slide switches provide universal bright and pickup switch position four bright functions.

The Jaguar bridge features Mustang saddles, nylon bridge post inserts for improved stability, a chrome cover, and a vintage-style floating tremolo tailpiece. The guitar is available in two striking finishes: Olympic White and Metallic KO, the latter of which is inspired by the heavily faded Candy Apple Red finish of one of Marr's favorite 1960s-era Fender models.

To complete the package, the Johnny Marr signature Jaguar guitar comes with a custom case featuring a blue crushed velvet interior, along with a strap, cable, and a set of flatwound strings.
